Golden's got talent!

As Featured in the Golden Weekly

Golden's got talent, and it's on full display in a stunning backyard makeover on Granite Drive. A team of local tradespeople joined forces to turn a plain Jane backyard and old pergola into a jaw-dropping outdoor living space that'll make you wonder why you'd ever want to stay indoors.

Sam Schofield from Peak Construction, the project manager who headed the project; "We were aiming for a space where the family could hang out and make memories all year long and It was also a chance to show off what our local trades can do when we put our heads together."

This wasn't your average spruce-up job. We're talking a full-on landscaping and outdoor kitchen (pizza oven included!) project, cozy seating areas, and some clever storage tricks that'd make Marie Kondo proud.

A collaborative effort by local tradespeople has turned this simple backyard into a stunning outdoor living space, showcasing the talent and skill available right here in Golden. Set in Stone worked their magic on the landscaping and irrigation, Columbia Valley Plumbing on the the propane for the BBQ and fire place, Parky’s on the pizza oven ventilation. Shamrock poured their heart into some slick concrete countertops, while F&G Electrical looked after the power and lighting. Peak Construction worked with the clients on design and hand crafted the kitchen and seating area.

As Golden continues to grow and evolve, it's projects like these that showcase the town's ability to blend traditional skills with modern designs, creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. It's a testament to the hard work, creativity, and collaborative spirit that defines our community.
